Mobile application for psychodiagnostics of preschool children

This bachelor thesis deals with the possibility of preschool children psychodiagnostics using a smartphone application. It is focused on the principle of psychodiagnostics and its different approach to preschool children psychodiagnostics, there are also described tests used in nowaday psychodiagnostics. In the next part is presented the current implementation of the OS Android application with chosen tests. At the end is an explanation of the way of evaluating data and recommendations for using the app.
Development of phonemic hearing in children with impaired verbal communication skills utilizing the D.B. Elkonin method

The topic of the thesis is the development of phonematic hearing in children with impaired verbal communication skills, utilizing the method of Danil Boršovič Eľkonin. It deals with the training of language skills for selected kindergarten children with special needs. The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. It summarizes theoretical definitions of basic terms such as language, speech, and communication. It describes disturbed communication abilities and its classification, it deals more with the characteristic of developmental dysphasia. It also deals with the concepts of phonetics and phonology, describes phonematic hearing and phonematic awareness. Last but not least, it outlines D.B. Elkonin's personality and his methodology. The practical part is of a qualitative character, which will give us access to the analysis of methodological procedures that we chose for this analysis. It describes five children with impaired communication skills throughout the training. Five children were selected for the research and for 6 months they were purposefully and regularly developed phonematic hearing by means of the D.B. Elkonin method. Development of Hearing Perception in Children with Developmental Dysphasia

This thesis deals with hearing perception of children with developmental dysphasia. It focuses on the use of the Elkonin method, specifically on the preparation of children before the application of this method. The aim of this work was to evaluate possibilities how to prepare children with developmental dysphasia in kindergarten special for application of Elkonin methodology. In the introductory parts of the thesis, the reader is introduced to the topic of disturbed development of speech on the basis of literature search, more specifically developmental dysphasia as a specific form of disturbed speech development. Furthermore, hearing perception and possibilities of its diagnostics are described, especially in preschool children and also in the context of developmental dysphasia. In the last subchapter, the reader is introduced to the possibilities of the development of auditory perception, in the form of suggestions for activities with children of pre-school age, and the Elkonin method itself, to which the activity in this work is focused. Development of speech and non-speech areas of a child with developmental dysphasia

The bachelor thesis is conducted as a case study of a boy with an expressive type of developmental dysphasia. This study deals with the possibilities of developing the individual speech and non-speech areas of a given boy. The theoretical part is focused on describing the development of children's speech, the theoretical definition of impaired communication ability and the theoretical anchorage of developmental dysphasia from the point of view of etiology, symptomatology and diagnostics. The theoretical part also deals with therapy and development of individual areas of a child with developmental dysphasia. The second part of the thesis is focused on the development of speech and non-speech areas from the practical side. It analyses the available medical reports and presents the results of the input and output guideline evaluations of individual areas of the boy. It also describes the course of development of individual areas of a given boy and presents the used material. The bachelor thesis therefore aims to analyse the speech and non-speech areas of a boy with developmental dysphasia and to describe the possibilities of their development. How to develop thinking and communication skills of preschool children in the context of Philosophy for Children.

The diploma thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with a definition of important concepts such as philosophy for children, historical development of this program, personality of a child, communication and thinking of pre-school children. The practical part is conceived as a controlled dialogue with children in preschool education, with a great emphasis on expressing their emotions and experiencing a given situation.
Possibilitis of developing perceptual abilities and skills of childern with disturbed communications ability in a logopeadic class of a common nursery school

The bachelor thesis deals with possibilities of developing perceptual abilities and skills of children with disturbed communication ability in a logopaedic class of common nursery school. The main aim of the thesis is to compile a training stack that could serve to develop hearing perception for children with disturbed communication ability aged from 5 to 7 years in the following areas of hearing perception acoustic differentiation, analysis and synthesis, auditory memory, concentration of auditory attention and rhythm perception. The partial aim of the practical part is to try out the exercises in the logopaedic class of a common nursery school. The text is divided into two parts theoretical and practical. The theoretical part focuses on the characteristics of preschool child, disturbed communication ability, opportunities for logopaedics care in the Czech Republic, and perceptual skills and abilities, and more precisely perceptual hearing. The practical part contains a qualitative research strategy, where the methods of semi-structured interview and participant observation are used. The research group consists of 17 children of preschool age with disturbed communication ability attending two different logopaedic class of a common nursery school in the Czech Republic. Based on the semi-structured interview and from the theoretical part a stack of exercises for children with disturbed communication ability aged from 5 to 7 years was set up, which was practically tested in two common nursery schools.
Development of visual and auditory perception of a child in the kindergarten

The theoretical part is focused on pre-school education, development of children of pre-school age, visual and hearing perception and aids used during developing of child of pre-school age.
